Chief Clinical Officer

Nicole Stilianos attended Indiana State University where she earned her BSN of Nursing in 2007 and earned her MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011. Nicole has worked in a Federally Qualified Health Center for several years in Clinton, Indiana. While serving as the director of clinical programs she spearheaded clinical integration implementation for programs such as Patient-Centered Medical Home, Transitional Care Management, Medicare Annual Wellness, and Care Coordination. Nicole has been a key member in providing a structure to support integration between primary care and mental health to include counseling, psychiatry, and addictions. She is passionate about prevention and holistic care. Focusing on the Quadruple Aim, she has brought quality, patient engagement, and provider satisfaction to a new level. She has worked extensively in the development and implementation of the electronic health record system to reduce provider and care team burden.

Nicole has worked in many different practice areas that include Emergency Department, Wound Care, Family Practice, Inpatient, both medical and behavioral, as well as Nurse Educator. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty and Course Facilitator in the Nursing Program at Indiana State University. She also has devoted time as a preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students through Indiana State and Indiana Wesleyan.

Nicole is very interested in research, as she has participated in a diabetes group visit study with the University of Chicago. Lastly, Nicole is currently an officer in the Indiana Air National Guard at Hulman Airfield in Terre Haute, Indiana. She holds the position of Nurse Practitioner in a mass casualty response team.

Role at IPHCA
Serves as IPHCA’s medical subject matter expert.
Represents IPHCA as the chief clinical officer in relationships with outside healthcare organizations and with federal and state officials.
