We bring you a round up of our IPHCA Annual Conference 2024, presented by Humana Healthy Horizons in Indiana, on October 8-9. It was a very special two days, with some very impactful discussions and workshops taking place and some inspirational speakers. We also have a full details of our Champions of Health Care award winners.

Also this month:
• November is American Diabetes Month. Affecting 12% of Indiana’s adult population (verses the national average of 11%), at an estimated cost of more than $6.6 billion a year, and being the 7th leading cause of death of Hoosiers, this continues to be a significant care focus area for all of us. 

Other observances this month: Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and National Family Caregivers Month – among several other observances.
