This month, we are proud to publish the results of an in depth study, prepared for us by Capital Link, about factors of health inequity at Indiana FQHCs. The report outlines how specific patient and health center characteristics can have an impact on access to care and health outcomes, and provides recommendations on improving equity and inclusion efforts, both in Indiana and nationally.

We also have new updates on IPHCA 2024 – taking place October 8-9, at Four Winds Casino South Bend – and a feature on National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.

Also this month:

  • May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month and American Stroke Month.
  • Other observances this month include Mental Health Awareness Month & National Adolescent Health Month, Maternal Sepsis Week and Asthma & Allergy Awareness Month!
  • Lots of trainings, webinars and meetings to check out

… with much more from our Clinical, Oral Health, IQIN and Outreach and Enrollment teams.
