Letter from Dan Rusyniak, MD Chief Medical Officer, Indiana FSSA:
“Thank you for your interest in Indiana’s Pregnancy Promise Program—Promoting Recovery from Opioid use: Maternal Infant Support and Engagement. As part of our State’s overall strategy to attack the drug crisis and to reduce infant and maternal mortality, the Pregnancy Promise Program offers a path toward sustained recovery for pregnant individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD). This program is available to individuals who qualify for Medicaid and who are, or were recently, pregnant. Participants will be paired with highly trained case managers who will help them access the medical and social supports they and their infants need to be healthy and well.
