HPV Vaccine

HPV Vaccine is Cancer Prevention

On average, there are 33,700 new cancers caused by HPV each year in the U.S.

Almost all of these could be prevented with HPV vaccine.

HPV vaccination is recommended for all individuals through age 26 years who are not adequately vaccinated.
HPV vaccination can be considered for individuals ages 27-45. This may prevent new HPV infections. Prevention of precancers and cancers has not been demonstrated.
