Funding Opportunities for Patients

Reimbursement is available for funeral costs for COVID victims, regardless of immigration status.

Persons who paid the funeral costs for individuals who died from COVID will soon be eligible to get up to $9,000 of these costs reimbursed by the Federal government.

On Monday, April 12, 2021, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will begin accepting this funding application.  Applications must be submitted by the persons who paid the funeral costs. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, noncitizen nationals, or qualified aliens; the immigration status of the deceased person does not matter. There are no income restrictions.

For more information, visit FEMA or call 844-684-6333.
