For many, the holidays bring to mind a Norman Rockwell-esque image of joyous gatherings filled with food, laughter, and the company of loved ones, creating a sense of warmth, excitement, and love. However, for others, this season can evoke feelings of anxiety, sadness, or even depression, despite the festive decorations and celebrations.
For some, family time is marred by unwanted conversations or the presence of toxic relatives. For others, the holidays are a painful reminder of those who are no longer around to celebrate. And for many, the season can bring feelings of isolation, with no one to share in the holiday cheer.
