This month health centers will learn more about how to better engage patients in their care. Specifically, how we can work with minority patient populations and embrace a cultural of humility. This webinar is appropriate for any staff that interact with patients from front desk to clinicians and patient navigators. We will hear from experts in cultural competence and discuss what strategies have worked for community health center staff working with minority groups.

Objectives: By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

1.       Recall state strategies regarding cultural competence in minority populations

2.       Understand the importance of cultural humility in working with patients

3.       Examine health center’s experiences in working with special populations
