RESCHEDULED FROM DECEMBER: Focus on Quality is a webinar series where Indiana's community health centers work collectively to address the needs of the populations they serve every day. Every month, Focus on Quality will highlight a specific population and feature content experts and identified tools, along with peer best practice sharing, to improve the health and well-being of that population. Centers are encouraged to take these tools and best practices and implement them in their centers for quality improvement purposes. November’s focus will be on improving cervical cancer screening. The team from the Indiana Cancer Consortium will be presenting on their strategies to improve cervical cancer screening rates and HPV vaccination rates.

The eCW User Group provides a platform for collaboration, learning, and problem-solving among users. It offers an opportunity to explore new and existing eCW features and products while fostering discussions where HCCN members can address challenges and work together to find solutions.

1. Reducing Tobacco Use and Cancer Risk in Primary Car Centers
Holly Simpson from IDOH/TPC
Holly Simpson is the Quitline Director for Indiana Tobacco Prevention & Cessation working to increase the reach of effective, evidence-based tobacco treatment services in Indiana. Prior to working for Indiana TPC, she worked as a Tobacco Initiative Coordinator and Tobacco Treatment Specialist focusing on community health coalition work and helping youth and adults end nicotine dependence.
Join us for a webinar on reducing tobacco use and cancer risk in primary care settings. Holly Simpson from the Indiana Department of Health will discuss:
• The Ask, Advise, Refer approach
• How to refer patients to the Quitline
• Services the Quitline offers to support patients

IQIN staff will be hosting an Azara User Group open to all staff who use Azata at Indiana's community health centers. The topics of this session will be the IPHCA risk algorithm, RAF gaps, and UDS+ instructions.

IPHCA January Health Policy Committee Meeting

January Health IT User Group will dive into the topic of telehealth within the EHR systems. This session explores the telehealth landscape on the national and local level, highlighting how telehealth services are being utilized in various settings and will address critical aspects such as tying in health equity, ensuring HIPAA compliance and understanding how telehealth is being implemented within our health centers.
