HPV Stakeholders Meeting

Indiana Immunization Coalition invites you to their HPV Stakeholder meeting, on August 24, 2021 at  The Manor at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

Lisa Robertson, Executive Director
“As you know with the pandemic, immunization rates have waned for all age groups, and most notably our adolescents.  While we have all most likely been focused on COVID, we need to continue our diligent efforts to raise HPV vaccine rates in our state, which have also declined, and are even farther below the rates for other adolescent vaccines.
We are very excited about the agenda.  Dr. Box will join us to lead the charge in increasing our HPV vaccination rates across the state.  In addition, Dr. Jessica Yesensky, a head and neck surgeon from IU Health Physicians will talk about the importance of the vaccine for throat cancer prevention and the new vaccine indication.  Dr. Hannah Locke,  an OB/GYN from IU School of Medicine, who specializes in health care for the LGBTQ population will share her perspectives as well.
We will allow plenty of time for sharing our efforts and strategizing ideas for the state to move forward on our HPV vaccination efforts!
Continental breakfast and lunch will be served and CNE will be offered. We hope that you will join us!”
