Fostering Equity of Services for the LGBTQ Population

The purpose of this webinar is to identify three strategies to improve access, inclusion, and equity of care for the LGBTQ population.

Often, patients in the LGBTQ population miss important vaccines and preventive health care because they do not feel comfortable in traditional medical provider clinics and offices. Dr. Hannah Locke will talk about the needs of the LGBTQ population and how to serve them more equitably and inclusively.

The webinar presenter is Hannah Locke, MD. Dr. Locke is an assistant professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology for Indiana University. She sees patients at the Coleman Center at University Hospital and the Eskenazi Transgender Health and Wellness Center. She is passionate about taking care of LGBTQ+ patients, as well as educating the next generation of physicians about LGBTQ+ health issues. She serves as the ACOG District V Junior Fellow Legislative Chair and is on the IUSM LGBTQ Healthcare Committee. She lives in Indianapolis with her wife and children.

CME, CNE, and Pharmacy continuing education will be offered.
