Focus on Quality

Focus on Quality is a webinar series where Indiana’s community health centers work collectively to address the needs of the populations, they serve every day. Every month, Focus on Quality will highlight a specific population and feature content experts and identified tools, along with peer best practice sharing, to improve the health and well-being of that population. Centers are encouraged to take these tools and best practices and implement them at their centers for quality improvement purposes.

Monthly populations and topics were chosen based on a national calendar of health observances, clinical and operational quality metrics, and feedback from IPHCA’s Quality Advisory Committee. Focus on Quality will also periodically discuss Health IT Innovations, elements of Value-Based Care, achieving Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition, and facets of the Chronic Care Model.

Please contact Maggie Kroeff, Quality Improvement and Data Coordinator for more information and an invite to the series.

March’s population of focus is adults over 45 who need to begin screening for Colorectal Cancer.
