Focus on Quality
Focus on Quality is a webinar series where Indiana’s community health centers work collectively to address the needs of the populations, they serve every day. Every month, Focus on Quality will highlight a specific population and feature content experts and identified tools, along with peer best practice sharing, to improve the health and well-being of that population. Centers are encouraged to take these tools and best practices and implement them at their centers for quality improvement purposes.
Monthly populations and topics were chosen based on a national calendar of health observances, clinical and operational quality metrics, and feedback from IPHCA’s Quality Advisory Committee. Focus on Quality will also periodically discuss Health IT Innovations, elements of Value-Based Care, achieving Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition, and facets of the Chronic Care Model.
Please contact Maggie Kroeff, Quality Improvement and Data Coordinator for more information and an invite to the series
January’s Focus on Quality kicks off the monthly series. Andrew Wilkinson from Purdue Healthcare Advisors will be sharing a program planning framework for centers to use in quality improvement projects and members of the IPHCA team will provide an overview of the focus areas for the coming year.
