Behavioral Health Peer Call

The Behavior Health Peer Call is for key staff and personnel dedicated to advancing their organization’s behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment programs. The workgroup is a resource-sharing platform for participants to learn about and discuss strategies to leverage technology to reduce health disparities in their patient population. The group explores clinical trends to keep abreast of current evidence-based best practices to meet the ever-changing needs of our patient populations.

The group meets monthly in a Peer Call format to hear from content experts, share best practices, and discuss challenges and solutions. Please contact Lyndsey White, LCSW – Behavioral Health and SUD Director, for more information and an invite to the series.

In recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month and National COPD Awareness Month, IPHCA will be hosting Holly Simpson, the Quitline Director for Indiana Tobacco Prevention & Cessation.

Holly has been working to increase the reach of effective, evidence-based tobacco treatment services in Indiana. Prior to working for Indiana TPC, she worked as a Tobacco Initiative Coordinator and Tobacco Treatment Specialist focusing on community health coalition work and helping youth and adults end nicotine dependence.

She will be providing valuable information focused on youth tobacco treatment resources available through Quit Now Indiana and the Live Vape Free Program.
