Bed tracking, Patient tracking and Resource tracking
In the event of a natural or man-made emergency the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has provided hospitals with a software product from EWA Phoenix through the Hospital Preparedness Program http://www.hhs.gov/aspr/opeo/hpp/ that has capabilities of bed tracking, patient tracking and resource tracking for the hospitals in Indiana. Although these programs are not available to health centers at this time, through understanding what is currently used by the hospitals in Indiana health centers can anticipate what information will be utilized and available to the hospitals in the event of an emergency.
