AugustNational Health Center Week (NHCW) Quality health care services are difficult to obtain without health insurance. Unfortunately, in Indiana, being uninsured is a fact of life for approximately 840,000 individuals. For more than 40 years, Community Health Centers (CHCs) have been providing primary health care services to underserved and vulnerable populations and providing a medical home to those in need. More than 352,000 Hoosiers are served and that number continues to grow. Health Center Week takes place August 10-16 to celebrate the successes of Community Health Centers and spotlight the impact that Community Health Centers have on our state.
