Careers at Community Health CentersA Community Health Center (CHC) is a health care home located in the community where the patient lives, providing high quality primary health care and related services at fees based on patient income and family size. ![]() For current job openings within CHCs, click here or contact Natalie Brown at 317-630-0845 (nbrown@indianapca.org). CHCs located in a federally-designated Health Professional Shortage Area
(HPSA) are eligible to become National Health Service Corps sites (explained
below). Qualifying HPSA scores are given to areas determined to
have a shortage of health professionals; they may have specific shortages
of primary care, dental, or mental health providers. HPSAs can be
urban or rural areas, special population groups, or medical or other public
facilities.
