Advocacy

IPHCA’s advocacy efforts are dedicated to promoting Community Health Centers to Indiana’s elected officials, both on the state and federal levels. IPHCA staff work closely with members of Congress, Indiana’s General Assembly, and other influencers to provide input on legislation that affects Community Health Centers. IPHCA leads a delegation to visit Congressional representatives every year at the National Association of Community Health Centers Policy and Issues Forum.

To assist in these efforts IPHCA uses an internet database program to strengthen grassroots efforts. Click “Become a Health Center Advocate” for more information.

IPHCA also provides Grassroots Training through our Legislative Day where member organizations and individuals visit their Indiana General Assembly representatives to discuss key issues.
