        Duties at IPHCA:

  • Provides leadership to the Indiana Quality Improvement Network (IQIN) activities.
  • Ensures IQIN Participating Health Centers (PHCs) have a forum to advance in the four IQIN core objectives: health information technology (IT) and meaningful use, data quality and reporting, health information exchange (HIE) and population health management, and quality improvement.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and consultants to support the IQIN.
  • Tracks and reports progress towards IQIN goals to CEO, HCCN Advisory Committee, IPHCA board and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and deploys resources as needed to meet individual PHCs and IQIN goals and support projects.

    • Conducts initial and ongoing needs assessment to identify skills and knowledge gaps of PHCs.
    • Plans training in collaboration with HCCN staff and PHC work groups, both contracted and in-house, including all aspects of registration, consultant selection as needed, venue selection, and provision of food & beverage amenities as needed.
    • Develops and maintains training schedule
    • Prepare and/or coordinate preparation of training aids and materials.
    • Communicate training opportunities to PHCs and other IPHCA members as applicable.

    • Guides and supports participating FQHCs in capital and readiness planning by providing targeted trainings, technical assistance on business plans, and linking to appropriate resources
    • Leads peer to peer meetings which focus on increasing financial and operations solvency of health centers and guidance on special populations
    • Acts as a liaison between CHCs and various organizations including but not limited to state and federal agencies and their contractors
    • Represents the interests of CHCs at various functions including state and federal initiatives, and conferences

        • Maximizes Outreach and Enrollment (OE) efforts throughout the state by developing partnerships and providing technical assistance.
        • Works with community and state partners to foster relationships that actively benefit IPHCA members.
        • Strengthens outreach and enrollment efforts of the CHCs by serving as an active liaison with consumer assistance groups
        • Diversifies OE funding for IPHCA and manages grants awarded, including contract positions, sub grantees, budgets, and reporting.
